Bringing Hope to Motherhood: RCRA’s Monthly Donation Initiative
Coming into this world as a human being is a profound and remarkable journey. Yet, an even more challenging and courageous path is walked by mothers, who risk their very lives to bring precious new souls into existence.
For expectant mothers facing financial hardships, the looming costs of medical care and basic necessities can easily turn what should be a joyful milestone into a period of deep anxiety and distress.
Empowering Underprivileged Mothers
To help ease these heavy burdens and provide vital support, the members of the Rotary Club of River Ayeyarwaddy (RCRA) embark on a meaningful mission on the 23rd of every month. The team visits the Yangon Central Women’s Hospital to deliver essential aid directly to those who need it most.
Monthly Impact at a Glance
As shown in the event highlights, this month’s project successfully distributed critical financial aid to support both the medical facility and individual families:
- Hospital Support: A donation of 1,000,000 MMK (10 Lakhs) was contributed to the Yangon Central Women’s Hospital to fund essential medical supplies and institutional needs.
- Direct Mother Support: An additional 100,000 MMK (1 Lakh) each was personally handed over to two heavily underprivileged mothers to alleviate their immediate financial stress.
